Data Augmentation for Stance Detection

During my first semester at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I worked under Professor Cornelia Caragea on novel data augmentation methods for stance detection in tweets (especially the SemEval 2016 dataset). We experimented with applying methods like Moment Exchange (MoEx) and Auxiliary Sentence-Based Data Augmentation (ASDA). Unfortunately the repository containing related is code is private and therefore not mine to share but you can view some related code regarding a reproducibility study for the ASDA method in the Github repo provided.
